Tiano Solana was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1973.
In 1988 he started his artistic career at the Pablo Giacomini Fine Arts Atelier.
In 1992 he started studying at the Regina Pacis Fine Arts Institute, also starting his Art Direction career at the Superior School of Creative Advertising in Buenos Aires.
In 1997 he decided to join his social work with his painting career, creating murals and thematic expositions in Argentina, Uruguay, India, Mexico and Colombia, the most relevant being: “Calcutta, ancient looks in children’s eyes, children’s smiles in ancient eyes” in 2001, and “Rebirthing Sacred Art” in 2002.
He moved his atelier in May 2003 to Bávaro, Dominican Republic. Since then he has done several exhibitions throughout the country, specially “Eves Muses” in the main Art Gallery in Altos de Chavón in February 2006 and “Queen Virtues” in the renowned Casa de Teatro, Cultural Centre in Santo Domingo in December 2006.
For the last five years, Tiano exhibits his work permanently at the Paradisus Punta Cana Hotel.
His paintings are in private collections in Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
